Your journey begins near AFC Manas Hotel, conveniently located close to Gorakhpur Railway Station. The first stop is the Gorakhnath Temple, a deeply revered spiritual center and the namesake of Gorakhpur, dedicated to the great yogi Shri Gorakhnath Ji of the Nath tradition.
After seeking blessings at the temple, we set off on a scenic drive to Sonauli, situated approximately 98 kilometers away. Upon crossing the Indo-Nepal border, we arrive at Lumbini, the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha, where peace and spirituality fill the air.
Following this serene visit, we continue our picturesque journey through Nepal, heading towards the vibrant capital city of Kathmandu, where culture, history, and adventure await.
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast to energize your journey through the cultural heart of Kathmandu. Your exploration starts at the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to the nearby Guhyeshwari Temple, an important pilgrimage site revered for its divine feminine energy.
Next, marvel at the majestic Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and most iconic stupas in Nepal, radiating peace and spirituality. Journey onward to Buddhanilkantha, home to the awe-inspiring statue of the Sleeping Vishnu, resting serenely on a bed of serpents.
Cap off the day with a visit to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), perched on a hilltop offering panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley—perfect for reflection and serenity.
